Shannon Gore
Practice Assistant
As a yoga instructor
and former social worker, Shannon has much experience with helping
others to better care for their mind, their body and their spirit. She
was first introduced to physical therapy in 1995 when a car accident
resulted in the need for therapy. It was a positive experience with
Physical Therapy and a new found love of yoga for maintenance that kept
Shannon feeling well physically and beyond. It brings Shannon great
pleasure to support Champion Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy in
providing positive and effective client care.
Shannon earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Work in 1993
from The University of Dayton. She earned her certification in Hatha
Yoga in 2001.
Shannon spends much
of her free time enjoying live music and dance, travel, hiking and her
friends and family.

programs, manual therapy, dynamic functional exercise, and neurological
re-education for optimal recovery and performance.

anatomy, neurobiology, and physiology to evaluate and treat movement and
performance dysfunctions.

patient about the injury process, recovery, and the role of prevention in the
future.

the symptoms, of the injury to the best of our abilities.

but for life long health and wellness.
